I would like to relate my experience with R&G Roofing. Last Fall during the big storms we realized that our roof was shot and needed to be replaced. We had a lot of contractors give us estimates, but the most thorough and most responsive contractor was R&G. We researched them on MOL and couldn't find a negative comment about them. It also helped that their price was much better than the others. Because of the impending cold weather, I decided to tarp the bad section of the roof and wait until Spring to have the job done. During the winter the tarp blew off twice during high winds and R&G came immediately to fix it.

The roofing process took 3 days (big, complicated roof). During that time, one of the owners was always around (or nearby) and very patiently answered all of my questions and implemented each custom request that I had. The owners are just very nice, respectful young men who simply want to please the customer. At the end of each day the crew spent an hour or more cleaning up our yard so that it looked like they were never there, down to the last stray nail. I commented to the owners how pleased we were with that service, and they said that they treat each house as if it were their own.

The foreman and the various workers worked their butts off and they were all pleasant and respectful. I think our new roof looks great and I can't say enough good things about R&G. I know that they do carpentry and window replacement too. I will never hesitate to use them again. Buying a roof is expensive and not necessarily the most satisfying purchase (it's just a roof), but these guys made us feel like we got tremendous value for our dollar. Anyone considering a roof replacement should call them. Of course now is their busy season, so you may have to wait.

No slate...although they will tear off a slate roof and replace it with faux slate shingles
