We have used Top Hat and Tails and they are the best. Cost-wise and they do not try and sell you a liner and other things you do not need, like many other chimney companies (aka scam artists). I could not recommend them highly enough. |

Well, if you don't have a liner, you will need one based on town code according to many I've spoken to. |

The chimneys were built with liners in 1905? A guy came in with a video camera to look inside and there was no liner in mine. Im thoroughly convinced that my house was a bit of a lemon when I bought it. The thing had been nothing but neglected for the last 30+ years from what I could tell. We love it anyway. |
