I remember a post about this a while back but try as I might I can't find it. We used John from True Thermal 2 yrs ago to replace the windows of the upper 2 floors of our home. Overall, for the price, I am pretty happy but two locking mechanisms have broken. How do I contact the manufacturer now that John is no longer in business?

You can "google" Thermal Industries and you will find their web site. If you see my previous thread on the window situation, you will find I spent 2 years in Thermal Window hell. Give me a call 973.763.4726.

So Thermal Industries is the manufactruer of these windows? I thought it was different name based out of NJ? Sorry but I don't want to convey a negative experience. John was great and the windows were installed very well and look really nice (as nice as vinyl can look, I suppose). The cost was literally 20% of what Pella estimated- I know these windows aren't Pella quality and I don't expect them to be for what I paid. I just need a few locks fixed.

John installed Tru Thermals for us. We've had them for several years now, with no problems. We love them. I'm just sorry that John is no longer in business.

It is a shame that John's not in business anymore. I really liked John and chose to go with him even though he told me about going out of business. Everything is fine, but he never finished my attic window with the trim. His brother as well as his friend who was helping him install the windows, didn't like heights. We are still after him to do it. We have the trim. Otherwise, everything else has been fine so far.

Jewel, no right now John in out of the window business. He's hoping to get back once all the dust settles. It's a shame, he's a really nice guy and what happened to him shouldn't of. Will let you know if I hear he's back in business.
