Does anyone have any recommendations on places that will deliver a 1/2 cord of firewood for the winter? I know it is early, but I've been told to take care of this way in advance of the season. Also, how much can I expect to pay for that amount of wood? Finally, any recommendations on the type of wood to get? I've heard birch burns well. Thanks!

Cva-

Did you do a seach for firewood? Its a very common subject at winter time and I know some names and numbers are bandied about. Expect to pay $99 for 1/2 cord of wood, but since its the summer perhaps it would be less. They will also charge a stacking fee around $20 or you can stack it yourself.
