Recent posts on this subject only provided 1 recommendation for purchasing and installing carpet - G. Fried on Rte. 22. I'm looking to install carpeting in only 1 bedroom. Can anyone recommend a place?

Thanks for your help.

I recommend G Fried for fast turnaround and reasonable prices.

For a higher-end carpet and installation, I recommend The Square Yard in Summit.

Someone recently recommended to me a place right in Maplewood on Springfield Avenue, called Carpet for Less. It's in the same building as Litzebauer Electric. I've been planning to go over there, but haven't yet. You may want to check it out.

Thanks. I'll give them a call.

You might want to try G Fried as Pdg and Smarty have suggested. I've spoken with Gail and she sounds nice and capable.
