If so, I'd love to hear what you thought of their work.

My neighbors had Pintona do a lot of work and loved him. I, on the other hand, tried twice to get him to write an estimate (for two separate jobs), and couldn't. On one he gave me a verbal quote, but when I asked him to put it in writing he evaporated, on the other he said he'd have to go back to the office and do some research.

Pintona had a carpenter replace a couple of rotted out window sills and boards on our house when we hired them for painting.
I believe that they sub-contract a carpenter that they regularly work with.
Our work wasn't that extensive, but we were very pleased with the results (especially since we were worried that the carpentry might hold up the house painting process)

We have used Pintona for interior and exterior painting, a sheetrock job and a small carpentry project and were pretty happy with them.

A local woman of South American heritage used to be their office manager and kept things organized. After her, there was a rather sharp young guy doing the estimates and office work, but he returned to college. Since then, we tried to get them to do some work and we never connected.

As I said, we are happy with the work they did for us, especially sheetrocking a ceiling after a plumbing problem.

I had no problem getting a written estimate, but that was about 2 years ago when they rebuilt our entire garage roof -- the roof is flat, so it isn't complicated. A couple minor things required adjustment, and he also came back for a couple service calls. They did a fine job and I'd recommend them (or use them again).

I tried to get a quote from them on a big deck project, calling several times. It took them over six weeks to get back to me, they appologized profusely, came out and took extensive measurements, assured me that they would get back with me immediately on it, then never did. Meanwhile the deck is up and they are off my list. GOOD LUCK!!!
