We'd like to replace our old wall-to-wall carpeting in the basement with new. I'm not sure if Expo or Home Depot would do a good job. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

We've always used WILSONS in Jersey City. (Y'know the one with the giant...? On the Sopranos?) The carpeting and installation are less expensive than some out here and they always do a good job. |

We've purchased all our carpets (basement and bedroom) from G. Fried on Rt. 22. Good service, no problems. Ask them to show you their "remnants" area in the back. The remnants can be large -- like the last of a roll or a discontinued design. The discounts on the remnants are pretty big. |
