If so, I'd love to hear how it went, what was done, who you used, etc. Feel free to PL me if need be. Thanks!

We did, but it was in Boston. Let me know if you want specifics as to the process, cost (EXPENSIVE!), etc. Sorry I can't recommend anyone out here.

We had to do some lead abatement. The health inspector (Robert Rowe at the Town Hall, who is VERY helpful, competent and reassuring. Also free) told us we had high lead levels in the soil, so we had the yard covered with dirt and sod. Also had the porch painted (WITHOUT sanding first, just scraping where necessary), and some interior painting. Lead levels went from very high to fine.
