I have a bunch of plants in pots that I would like to plant. Since it is going to be very hot in the next few days I didn't know if I would be better off waiting until it cools off a little or keeping them in the pots and risking that they will dry out. Any advice is appreciated! |

They can (and should) be watered in the pots. I'd wait. I have a few things I'd like to move around, but am going to wait. What kind of plants? If they are hardy, you could give it a go in the early morning, I suppose. |

if you keep them in pots, you should probably give them a little shade so they don't dry out as fast. |

I would keep these plants in their pots, watering them every day until we get some temps below the 90's. They were at the nursery this way and would remain at the nursery that way until someone buys them. Could be all summer for that matter.
