does anyone have any knowledge of this or better yet, any actual experience with them.
I searched around the attic, but could find nothing on them.
Anyone?

I used them last year.

Good prices and I was pleased with their service. Actually, I recall there was a minor glitch with their service at first, but I forget what.

Regardless, I'll be with them again this year.

I used them and had a good experience. The oil comes from a local company, in my case JW Pierson. They just facilitate the connection and discount.

If I paid $2.50/gallon, what did you pay? How does service work and can you get an oil tank warranty?

I paid 2.39 - I think.

You can get a tank warranty through the deliverer. Service is also through the delivery people.

I'd be interested in this too.

Thanks for the discussion.

Mel - that was my price cap directly thru Pierson. I wonder what the discount is?

BTW - this year's price cap is $2.93 or $2.99. If you lock the $2.39, it stays whether oil goes up or down. If you lock the $2.99, you pay $2.99 but for an additional $75, you get the lower price if the price goes down. It runs the heating season.

I figured it out and unless oil goes below $2.85, the $2.93 is the better deal.

This is the first year they've done the two-tiered price lock thing. Usually it's just the one price lock for $25.

I'm tempted to go with the $2.93. Methinks that I have a better chance of being a size 2 again than the price of oil dropping.

Thoughts?

LAST year I paid 2.39...I'm scared to think of what will happen to oil prices.

I say, go with the 2.93!!!
LOCK IN!!!
LOCK IN!!!

Oh, also, I "locked in" in, like, November...so the 2.39 was a gift. I think oil was up to 2.59 or so.

I would risk the $75
