Just got an estimate for sidewalk replacement. $2250 for whole thing in front of house; $900 for 3 slabs. They can't do in one day cause I have to get roots shaved. Is this the going rate? |

When we had ours done it was around $100 per slab. This was a couple of years ago and we did it with two other neighbors. We had 15 Slabs replaced. We were told back then that the going rate was around $125 per slab. Unless cement has tripled in cost that seems high to me. |

I only want 3 slabs replaced but recognize they can't finish the job the same day. If you live here long enough, like me...you get to replace the same slabs over and over again. Thanks to the great tree thing we do in town...take a tree down and then plant trees over existing roots. My recollection was that I paid about $150-200 last time. |

vocalee that is wat we paid for replacing three slabs was $150-$200 per slab. This was a few years ago. My biggest complaint is the town owns these huge trees, but they aren't responsible for repairing the sidewalk. |
