Sorry--couldn't get the SEARCH function to function.

Having a problem with my dryer since last night. It's only about 4 years old, but it stopped heating altogether. Tripped both circuit breakers (wishfully), after reading that a second breaker can sometimes be the culprit, especially during the summer heat, but no luck. Any other ideas for things to try? And who might come out to repair it, on fairly short notice (and with a fairly large accumulation of laundry needing to be done before vacation)?

THANKS!

Having that old cookie problem again...supposed to be titled, GAS DRYER PROBLEM. And it was, before I edited my post (at which point it reverted to an old posting title). Sorry.

1. alleviate some stress and drop your stuff at a laundromat. My friend recommended Lavaland on Springfield I think, in Vauxhall, but we have used the place on Valley during similar emergencies.

2. I use PSeg repair service and have had a wonderful technician named Mary help. She fixed my dryer when I thought it was toast! I know she lives in town, perhaps someone knows her personally. I'm sure she could help you after her regular work day.

VIG--I think I know Mary. She came out and worked a minor miracle on my cooktop about a year ago. I have no idea how to contact her...I'm assuming PSEG wouldn't just give me contact info. And can't quite think of a way to approach this with them, in terms of some legitimate sounding reason for asking for it. Do you know anyone who might know her?
