I need a stall shower regrouted as the first effort in figuring out if there is a leak, before we break open the downstairs ceiling or remove the shower pan. Our plumber said there's a grout guy in Chatham anyone know of him?

Yes, we used him and he was fine ... pretty meticulous about matching colors.

I just want to say that the grout guy came today and told me I didn't need grout, I always appreciate honest businessmen. I compliment his honesty.

He came to me after you jeff and I too was impressed with him. Seems honest, likeable and even offered some suggestions for keeping the price down. He even gave me homework - i.e. find tile to match the existing. He's going on vacation next week so he may not be available for a bit.

Does he do tiling as well? Or just replacement and grouting? I need a kitchen backsplash and a bathroom floor replaced.

Thank you, Dennis, for passing along my name and number. Thank you, Jeff, C Simmons and Star Princess, for the kind words. And, Zoesky, we also fix tile and caulk problems, stain grout, and set new tile (backsplashes, floors, even complete bathrooms/kitchens).

And regarding grout coloration (or staining grout): It is a tedious, meticulous job that we do, but it gives you even color across the floor that can last years due to the sealant within it.

Does the grout guy also remove the old dirty grout or do you have to do that yourself?

Yes, we remove old dirty grout (although it might not have to be removed; there are other less extreme options), scuzzy caulk, lots of icky tile stuff (that's the technical term).
