The lights in the basement won't turn on any more. I can't find evidence of a blown fuse in the fuse box, and the bulbs are fine.... anyone have a guess, without actually seeing anything?

Are they fluorescent? Sometimes the starters are the problem versus the tubes. |

Yes, they're all on the same switch, which is at the top of the stairs. There's another set of basement lights on a different switch, and they are fine. No, they're regular bulbs. Yes, I figured it was gremlins. Or, as I usually say, demons. The demons' usual work is to follow me around and hide things when i lay them down, so maybe they were bored and wanted a change.  |
