I need to get some clapboard siding repaired/replaced and window frames fixed prior to a painting job. Any recommendations? Thanks Jeff |

Tico's Carpentry did some similar work for us. Sorry, I don't have the number handy, but they're mentioned here often, and their signs are everywhere! |

I used Ticos for a porch repair and was pretty happy. I wish some of the detail work had been done slightly better, but otherwise everything was fine. I would still use them again . . . |

I've used Tico's. Overall happy...showed up on time every day, polite, worked very hard. But details are not their strength. and be extremely specific as to what product you want used on your house (type of wood, etc.) |

In my case, they replaced a rotten porch joist and a fascia board. After they left, I noticed that the fascia board was around 1/8 of an inch narrower than the old one, thereby leaving a small gap. On the other hand, the staff was nice, worked very hard and cleaned up everything when they were done. They also improvised a hinge system, on the fly, for me, so that I could have access under the porch . . . |
