I'm considering central air, and have also heard good things about the Mitsubishi Slim split system. Anyone have recs on companies, experiences with Unico systems, splits, the pros and cons of different approaches, etc.? House is a '29 Tudor with plaster walls, three stories and finished attic. I'm just starting my research. Thanks.

I highly recommend the Unico system. It's geared for your application.

dumb question, probably, but do you have to have forced hot air system in order to have central air? We have baseboard heat

Eire - no. You'd just have two separate systems.

What's a ballpark quote for installing Central air in that house scenario?
