A few weeks ago there was a thread seeking solutions for a slow toilet. One of the possible causes mentioned was calcification and/or lime scaling. Having had a similar problem, I turned the water suply to the toilet off, flushed the tank and poured a container of Limeaway into the bowl through the tank drain and let it sit all day. The toilet was noticeably better at its intended function. With a second application yesterday, its almost at 100%. It may take one or two more applications, but it looks like its going to work. I believe that slow is politically incorrect. In the future please refer to the toilet as challenged. I have reported this thread to Dave. |
