Can anyone recommend some interior painters? I really don't want to go with a company, per se. Rather an I.C. We just have a couple of rooms that need painting. Thanks |

We used him for our garage and basement (repairs and painting), kitchen small hallway and breakfast nook, MBR and MBa, 2nd Fl Ba, Son's BR (removed wallpaper, prepared walls and painted), office (incl skim-coating), and attic BR Ba and hallway (included plaster repair around newly installed eaves access doors).
Reasonable, hardworking, polite, good results. |

Ditto Alvaro (# above). He did a beautiful job, especially on the repair and painting of a crumbling and cracking plaster-walled dining room. We keep getting compliments on it!
Very reasonable, very nice guy. A little difficult to understand on the phone sometimes (Spanish accent), but fine f2f. |

I had a great experience with George Mera, his crew finished painting all the inside of my house, very easy to go with, professional, reliable and his guys are very good painters, he will be painting the exterior of my house as well.

out of curiosity, how much should one expect to pay for a regular-sized Maplewood home bedroom to be painted? trying to debate if it's economical enough to farm it out than to do it ourselves. |

A third for Alvaro - 971-219-0342. Painted our whole house (interior) and for a great price. Search the archives and you can see some pics I posted. He is an immigrant from Mexico who recently started his own business after working for a contractor and doing side jobs. His prices are great and his work is quality. Liscenced and insured as well. I know he's just finished a couple of jobs so is definitely available. |

Dilly Bros in Springfield NJ 973 376 7710...Steve Dilly is a great guy...did some papering and painting for us very reasonable...did painting at my mother's house too.
He is honest, courteous, did a great job, took care to keep the dust and debris to a minimum and cleaned up when done. |

G. Mera painted most of my house, did a wonderful job, his prices were similar, maybe a little different but the quality was higher. I had one room done in my house before by another company and I see a difference with the work done by George's crew, very good preparation of walls, trim and ceilings before painting, and he checks the job himself everyday. I recommend his company.
