We've used Anthony's for almost 7 years without problem until recently. His workers still cut and clean great but I'm in billing nightmare. He has his wife/girlfriend do the billing and it seems each month there's an issue when I thought we had cleared it up and are now up to date. I'm looking at a bill now still indicating I'm past due, which I know I am not. It's quite irritating. The worse part is that when you phone them, no one "live" ever answers -- voice mail hell, so it takes days for her to respond and it's phone tag time. We're looking into other landscapers at this time. I can't be so bothered with this anymore. We're waiting for landscape designs from another company and then the big work will come, as our backyard is a nightmare. Any recommendations? |

Anthony sends a proposal at the beginning of the year. You check off the services you want and you know without question what it will cost. I have lost track from time to time over the years, but Anthony always sent me an account history which showed the billings and the payments and they checked out everytime. There is no administrative staff to speak of to field calls, but I always found them responsive and the crews are great. |

Is it standard practice to add a "sales tax" to a monthly lawn service charge? We use Mario Vargas for lawn service and he has been tacking on an extra 10% in tax for his services. |

Mantram: If it is tax, it should be 7% not 10%. He's ripping you off. I think you're paying his income tax too. |
