We have a crack in one basement wall that water leaks through when it rains alot. Need someone to repair. We are not interested in major basement reconstruction - just need to fix the problem. thanks. |

Do you experience any flooding? Is this just a small leak? |

Wiggie: My best guess is that you'll be able to fix that crack but the water will find another way in. While fixing the crack I would also suggest to make sure that water is not pooling up along the perimeter of the house and that your downspouts are not clogged. |

Hydraulic cement is great for this sort of thing. Just make sure of the drainage issues as John suggests and that the crack isn't structual. |
