we're unhappy with our lawn service company right now and looking to hire someone new. can anyone recommend a detailed, reliable, full maintenance and friendly local company. |

I use Giovinne Landscaping out of West Orange and am very pleased with them, so far.

Can I ask you bklyngirl how much you pay a month approximately? I hear it averages about $100-150 for basic lawn,trim care? Does that sound right? |

Sure. I pay $140/month for general maintenance of my property, i.e., lawn mowing, trimming around beds, and leaf blowing during Summer months.
All chemical treatments (crabgrass, etc.) are a separate charge, of course, and winter and spring clean up I think is around $240 or so.
I'll look at my contract and get back to you, if you want?
