We just painted the inside of our house, did some cleaning up and although it's physically impossible the amount of cr*p we've pulled from our house is 3x the interior size of our house.
Unfortunately, we won't be able to participate in the splendid South Orange Take All My Cr*p days at the dump this summer, so we're looking into getting a dumpster.
Anyone have any experience with this? Any recommendations, or names of folks I should stay away from?
All suggestions are gratefully accepted - thanks!!

We use Mike Prendeville in Chatham. He's always been prompt, reliable and I believe reasonable. 973.635.8815. Tell'em Sherri and Rich said to call. He can also do pick up without a dumpster. |

I also have hired Fred Hodges to haul away stuff & he was responsive, reliable & fair. I've only had a dumpster once & it was fine, but it did take up most of our driveway...depending on where they are put, they can do damage to driveways if not carefully unloaded... |

I love Fred Hodges, just took a bunch of stuff away. Came to give us an estimate same day, and then just carted the stuff away. |

I agree about Fred Hodges, he's awesome and I've used him several times. However, there is a breaking point in terms of amount of stuff to be hauled away where it makes more sense to get a dumpster and load it yourself than to hire a rubbish removal crew.
Having used both South Orange Disposal and Yannuzzi for dumpsters, I would highly recommend Yannuzzi. They come on time and pick up on time and are pleasant on the phone. Had a terrible experience with SOD when trying to get them to pick up a dumpster they had delivered (and I had filled). Phone for Yannuzzi is 973.672.8333. Just filled a 15 yarder; cost around $415.
