I have quite a few things I'd like check and also have an electrician add/fix. Can anyone refer a reliable electrician?
We need to:
* add outside lighting in back
* take a look at one circuit that connects 3 rooms and trips each time one of the a/c units are on
* take a look at old wiring in basement hanging all over-want to remove old ones not in use or at least fix it so it's not so dangerous
* add a gfi outlet to backyard outside
* add doorbell
* add outlet in garage

I was extremely unhappy with MGM Properties and the work they did on my house. The owner sent a different electrician every day, so there was no continuity. One morning, during our kitchen renovation, an electrician showed up and asked ME what he was supposed to do. He had no idea. They left all sorts of tools in my house all the time, indicating sloppiness and lack of detail. And the bill was outrageous. Avoid. |

Sorry, kibbegirl, but I'd avoid MGM, too.
To make a very long story short, suffice it to say that they wanted to charge me $2,000 for a job that I eventually had done for $100 by a reputable and reliable electrician.
I recommend Adam Schipani from Mario Schipani Electric.
