How much to paint 1 room?

Author Message   Rudbekia Citizen Username: Rudbekia Post Number: 186 Registered: 3-2004 Posted on Sunday, August 20, 2006 - 2:00 pm:        I was quoted $600 to paint one 10'x18' room (one coat of primer, one coat of paint), excluding the trim and ceiling, by workers who will be doing other work in my house and so will be here anyway. Some of the walls are the interior of dormers so they're very short and mostly windows. I'll do it myself instead. What have others been quoted for similar work?
