I've actually had great sucess with the OFF POWER PAD. I use two - on on each side of my patio - seems to really keep them away.

I fog when I get home from work. Not environmentally friendly, but it works!

You can plug a high velocity fan in and run it on the deck. That works really well, too. The critters get blown away.

I've used fans too. They can even be on low. The critters don't seem to be able to handle the breeze.

Those oldschool zap boxes were awesome. My folks had one. Too bad it causes like 165 types of cancer.

My gutters are brand new - so spotless you could eat out of them (if you were so inclined)?!?!?! I still have bugs galore on my deck and the chewed up ankles to prove it.

Is it me or did the mosquitos get much bolder this year??? They never used to come up on my deck during the day, but now, I get eaten alive during the daytime. Is this a newly evolved species of mosquitos?? It's terrible.

A lot of nasty buggers breed in your gutter without most people knowing it. The Center for Disease Control recommends you keep them clean at all time to stop mosquitos and other things you bite you from using them as a home. How about your neighbor's gutters? My drive around town has shown me a lot of "trees" growing out of a number of gutters around town.
