DON'T BOTHER TO LOOK ANY FURTHER. . .CLAUDIO IS THE ONE TO CALL FOR IMPECCABLE FLOOR REFINISHING!

When I asked for names of good, solid, reliable companies to redo my floor, about 85% of the responses came back---CLAUDIO! We hoped he was good but we've had some real doozies with bad attitudes and lousy work ethics so we had our fingers and toes crossed.

Well, I'm here to confirm that I went ahead and used Claudio and he was all that we hoped and more. He sanded, stained and polyeurethaned 2 upstairs bedrooms, the hallway, the stairs, and polyeurethaned downstairs living/dining rooms and den.

We had NO idea how much of an ordeal it was to have our floors done but we bit the bullet and did it. It took a week of living in our basement (which has one room we used as a bedroom for the kids). After a week of this we were all very much on edge and ready to head back upstairs. Though Claudio warned us that the floors were basically dry, we all needed to get back to normal.

We were very careful, but with 2 kids and a cat, we ended up making several scuffs here and there. And downstairs we laid an area rug under a coffee table because the kids kept pushing the table across the floor--which caused a lot of work had to be done to repair it.

Long story short, we had to call Claudio back to fix a few things. He was so great about it and didn't punish us for making him come back by making us wait. This is one contractor who stands behind his work!!

Polite, punctual, reasonably priced, hard-working, and skilled are just a few adjective to describe Claudio and his workers (they are also SUPER nice guys).

Our floors look just as we'd always envisioned them. . .we almost wish we had another house for him to work in because you just don't run into this combination of kind patience, reasonable prices, and awesome punctual work!

I had Claudio come out and give me an estimate on my front porch based upon many people writing many positive things about him. About the same time my neighbor had Jacob van Ysseldyk from Custom Renovators do the floors on the inside of his home. Cladio's estimate was higher than Jacob's. How much higher? You can PL me for that.

I watched Jacob do my neighbors home without creating any dust what so ever. None! He's originally from Holland where he learned his skills quite some time ago, and I say that with admiration. In addition to refinishing floors, his skills came about from his work as a professional furniture restorer and crafter of fine cabinetry & furniture. That to me makes all the difference in the world. I really liked that Jacob is an old school cabinet and furniture maker, not just a floor refinisher because that tells me he really knows about working with wood. Claudio seems very nice, however I didn't feel from his young appearance that he had nearly the skillset of Jacob.

Jacob also makes incredible high quality dog beds as another business. He takes extreme pride in his work, and I don't think he's ever been mentioned on this board before.

I highly recommend him. I'm having him do my front porch and bedroom.

He can be reached at 973-740-0233.

You can take a look at his wood shop and the dogs beds at:
