Hey folks! I know I have seen some messages mentioning good plumbing supply stores but my searches come back empty. Can you recommend them to us again? |

Is Maplewood Plumbing Supply on the corner of Springfield Ave and Chancellor Ave still there? |

Palmer on Valley is great, or Kantor on Scotland Rd in W Orange (they carry Kohler products which Palmer does not). /p |

There is also Community Plumbing on Rt 22 in Springfield. They have many things that Maplewood Plumbing (yes they are still there) sometimes don't have. Hey Pete, I went into Palmer several times for supplies and they don't seem to take kindly to women. I was completed ignored by them and I walked out. |

Sherri-- they don't take kindly to non-pros at Palmer! I've stood there and been completely ignored while they're shooting the breeze with a pro. I can imagine that when you walk in (maybe you should wear overalls?!?) -- its completely out of their realm! That said, they have always had the parts I need (except Kohler), and they're in the neighborhood. Pete |

Palmer is OK if you come in with the part you need replacing and a diagram. I have seen them laugh at people and tell them to call a plumber when they use non-technical terms and have no clue what they are doing.

Community Plumbing is very DIY friendly. I have also had good luck at the plumbing supply on Newark Way. I believe it is called New Jersey Plumbing. |

Don't forget about NJ Plumbing Supply on Newark Ave. They're very nice there as well, and the hours always seemed much more convenient than Palmer's.
