Someone to build deck stairs?

There is currently no staircase to the backyard. I'd like to add one on but am getting the run around from my current contractor. I don't see what the big deal is, but it will need to have a platform and turn as it's pretty high. I also want to have the entire hand rail redone and make sure the whole thing is attached properly to the house. Any recommendations?
