I just want to get a ballpark idea for what a chimney repair should cost. We have a ranch house with a slate roof. The chimney needs to be rebuilt almost entirely (below the roof line). Any idea of what a project like this should cost? Anyone have this done recently? Thanks. |

Robert, Let me know how this works out, I'm about to contract for the same thing except in our case it's above the roof line. We also have a slate roof and 2 chimney stacks. I had seen 'Hart Roofing' in the area rebuilding a number of chimneys. I had planned on stopping in at one of the homes in my neighborhood since it appears they did a decent job - but wanted to get customer feedback since I've seen the Hart truck visiting the house after the fact quite often and that concerns me. Hopefully they are just doing good service protocal with a followup... |
