I'd like to move an old sofa to the basement but it is too large.

A colleague told me about a service that comes to your home, dismantles the piece, moves it and then puts it back together. Does anyone know of a company in the area that would do this? Amy idea of the cost involved?

I had this done in the city a couple of years ago. Crate and barrel gave me the number of a service that does that. You should call a store like that and ask them they should be able help you out.

Ultimate Upholstery on Valley Street just took apart and put together a sofa for my son and daughter-in-law. They did a beautiful job--I couldn't see where it had been cut.
