Though it is not Halloween, someone recently threw some eggs at our house and we are now faced with removing it from both our painted wood house and windows. Any tips on what will remove dried egg? All help would be appreciated.

having no experience with this stuff I'm not sure, but have you tried scrubbing with bicarb of soda? (baking soda) I use it dry to clean just about anything without damaging it, and then it hoses off easily without leaving grit behind. adds shine to windows, can flow into garden water. i'd dampen the egg, then dampen a wad of newspaper and plunge it into a pile of baking soda, tackle the dried egg, repeat and move to a new clump etc then hose off a large patch then repeat until clean. |

Hey SO Parents, Thanks for the great website. Unfortunately, I did not discover the egg until a few days later. But I will try the remedy on the site anyway, who knows, maybe it will work even at this late date.. |
