We want to replace our big old cement basement sink, which has one basin, a slanted front and is deep and heavy. (Sound familiar?) Someone told me that these old things can be valuable; anyone know about that? Otherwise, how best to break up/remove?

If it's soapstone keep it. If you still want it gone? I'll take it.

Hehe, I remember Michael McKell flipping out when I said my husband used a sledgehammer on ours so we could fit a washer and dryer there! Now we have one in this house but the outside was painted gray (???). I suppose we could easily enough remove the paint and refurbish it for our kitchen? Is that possible?
