my husband and i have gotten a couple quotes so far, one from home depot the other from roeland home improvers. has anyone used roeland before? their windows were much, much more expensive then home depot. now i know home depot can be quite inexpensive but roeland windows were outragious. any window company recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

If you are looking for "replacement" windows whereby the mouldings in your home are not removed I would look into "Renewal by Anderson" They really have a great product.

we had the first floor done last year. Essex door and window.

http://www.essexdoorandwindow.com/

They did a great job, and were very professional. Had 10 windows and 2 garage doors replaced for less than Home Depot wanted for jsut the windows. And the Essex windows seem a bit higher quality
