Help!!! I removed an old porch and I am planning to construct a new one. The exposed wood on the front of the house has been eaten away by termites. How do I get an assessment of the damage before we cover the area over with masonry??? The termites are not around any more. I have had an exterminator several years ago.

All ideas are welcome. In the meantime, I have no porch and the contractor is looking to begin.

Thanks in advance for ideas and recommendations.
