Has anyone ever used World of Colors to put up drywall in their home? I know they are highly recommended here for their painting, but we also need one room completely drywalled, and all three bedroom ceilings also have to be pulled down (plaster is cracked and falling off the lathe), and replaced with sheetrock. We also have a quote from them to replace all the mouldings in the room with the new drywall (we're trying to "un-do" a 1960's fake wood panelling renovation), which I assume will just be MDF, since the original mouldings in the rest of the house are very plain and will just be painted. Any thoughts? Anyone? We are first time homeowners and VERY overwhelmed... just to get our house "livable" for us and our two small (under 3) children seems to a very daunting task! |

World of Colors did exactly that project in our house - removing god-awful panelling and replacing it with sheetrock. They did a decent job. |

Just decent? I am thinking of using them to add a sheetrock closet in my new house, as well as for painting. If they aren't great please let me know (I have used them for painting before and like them a lot!). |

To clarify: The sheetrocking and taping were done nicely. What I think could have been done better was putting switch plates and outlet plates on the wall straight. When I pointed this out, it was fixed. Don't hesitate to use them, Deb. |
