I usually print them in late April - early May, and wait til late summer for blooms. Anyone know when is the soonest I can plant them is? |

I just put my Morning Glory seeds in water today! I'm going to sprout them indoors and give them a head start this year. Usually I soak the seeds in April and don't get around to putting them in earth, so they sprout or rot in the water and I plant around Mother's Day, This method yields app. 3 sad vines from 50 seeds. |

I usually start them 8 weeks early - the supposed 'last frost' here is the middle of May. so riht about now is the best time to start them indoors. Unfortunately, I have not sunny windows - so the plants get really leggy. |

When I start seeds early, I find my transplant casualties are high. Often I have to direct-sow a second crop. I never notice that some of them bloom much earlier, so I suspect that the direct-sown ones pretty much catch up with the transplants. I'm never sure that starting seeds early indoors actually pays off, not in my primitive conditions anyway. |
