Hi, everyone
At the recommendation of a couple of people on this list, we signed up with True Thermal windows to replace basement windows. We gave the owner, John, a deposit about 4-6 weeks ago (he said it would be 4-6 weeks for him to get to us) and he has not returned numerous calls. Anyone using him now or can steer me to him? I'm starting to get concerned....

My impression is that this is peak season for window replacements....starting to get cold, but warm enough that people will put up with removed windows....he's probably just very busy....

He must be very busy. John has always returned my calls within a couple of days. Earlier this fall he installed our new basement windows, which are great by the way. We've also just ordered new front and back storm doors. I always use either the toll-free number or local number printed on his forms and business card.

We are in the same situation, although I haven't been calling him (our windows should be in soon, so I should). I believe his wife is expecting and due any day, so maybe that has something to do with it.

We were in a similar situation but John did in fact return my call, and installed the windows but told us that he and his wife just gave birth to their first baby and the baby was in distress for a while. I think he is honest, but it takes him a little time to return phone calls, etc. and especially in a crisis.

we have always found him to be ultra honest and responsive, so he must be distracted. I hope all is well with his family.

I too have been waiting for John to replace our basement windows, which we ordered almost 8 weeks ago. I put in two calls to him and also did not hear back, though he did drop off capping sample colors. So, he must be around, but busy. And if he has a newborn baby, that would explain a lot. I was glad to see your listing as I too was getting worried.

Has anyone heard from John? We still have not heard from him.

They replaced our windows just after Thanksgiving. Give them a call.
