I got an estimate from Avellino to waterproof my basement. Has anybody had any waterproofing done by him?

Yes, they did some french drains in our basement last fall- they did great work, were in and out in a day and didn't leave a mess. It was the best "home improvement" money we've spent- not a drop of water since! The owner came by the next day to check out the job himself. We were quite pleased with them and would highly recommend them. And... we only needed drains along one wall (due where our water problem was) and they were the only guys who didn't try to rip us off by telling us that we needed the entire basement perimeter done- at 3-4x the cost.

We've used Avellino for masonry work on our front steps and sidewalks and highly recommend them. Great work and very professional.

Watch out for Vulcan. They come and have a relatively high price and give you a hard sell and want you to sign a contract on the spot.

We used Avellino two years ago and have nothing but good things to say. Billy Avellino is a pleasure. We have not had any water issues since. I have also heard great things about Gregory Waterproofing.
