Has anyone got a tempered glass or etched/mirrored backsplash?

If so, how does it look and how is it working out?

Thanks

I don't have on personally but will give you my personal opinion of them.
Very nice looking if etched.
Needs to conform to the house or will look out of place.
Very easy to damage... It is glass.
If set in a nice decorative molding you'll avoid most "accidents".
You'll be cleaning it every day.
Again.... This is just my take on it.....Mike

A friend of mine has a contemporary house. Her kitchen is very modern with a mirror backsplash. In her home it looks nice. However she is constantly cleaning it from food spills and splattering .She uses a commercial cleaner for a streak free finish.Personally I think tile is much easier to clean.I have also seen slabs of granite used for a backsplash but it gives the kitchen a"cold" feeling.
