All -- We are happy to be rat-free! Actually, because of one of your recommendations, we called an exterminator who immediately determined we had field mice, not rats. And he rid us of them in about three weeks. He was great. His name is Ron at KRB pest control. He's awesome. And now we can breathe again. We had a horrible experience with C & R Pest Control. Not only did they tell us we had rats instead of mice, but they put bait stations around our home without putting any poison in four of the six of them. (Ron discovered this.) They made us pay to plug holes where the mice (well they said rats) may have been getting in, yet they won't return our money even though they didn't do the work. They are terribly unreliable. Don't call them for any pest control needs. They say they do everything, but I have never experience such poor service in my life. But, on the up side, I can now put my infant in an infant carrier on the floor without worrying frantically! Thanks to all your support.

Glad to hear it wasn't rats! Field mice are definitely much more common, esp. as the weather starts to cool down.

That's great news, Shari.

Enjoy your baby and your mouseless house.
