Minimum space for foyer???

Author Message   Dego Diva Citizen Username: Fmingione Post Number: 189 Registered: 12-2003 Posted on Thursday, January 13, 2005 - 12:05 pm:        We're thinking about pushing out a bathroom wall to enlarge it, but in the process, the small "foyer" right outside it would become smaller. This foyer is on our second floor. Basically, you get to the top of the stairs, and there's a 5' x 7' foyer with three doors off of it. My question is, does anyone know if there is some kind of building ordinance that requires this foyer to be a minimum size? I think I read a post once about it.
