Claudio Russo’s, Russo Flooring, truck was broken into over the New Years and all of his paperwork was taken. Unfortunately he has no way to contact any clients – he apologizes for any missed appointments or commitments due to this. Please contact him at 973.418.2417.

Does anyone have any tips on stripping wallpaper off the walls? Is there some kind of primer or sealer to put on over the paper after the first layer of wall paper is removed? Then can I paint over that? Hmmm. Thanks!

You can paint over wallpaper. Use an adhering primer.

The best way to remove wall paper is with a steamer. I believe Home Depot rents these.

Otherwise, score the suface with a five dollar tool available at home centers and paint stores and either use a commercial wallpaper remover, vinegar and water or, according to Mrs. K, fabric softner.

Also, if the plaster, or even worse plater board wasn't properly primed there will be some damage to the wall.

Remember patience is a virture, which is why Mrs. K is our family expert on this subject. :-)
