We recently had the oil paint stripped off the floor of an attic room, sanded and stained. (3 coats) Unfortunately, two weeks later and it's still not dry--touch it and the stain comes off on your fingers and you leave a print. The guys who did it are our all around carpenter-tilers-painters, great work on other things, but I think they were not that experienced with floors. Any suggestions? |

From what I remember when Claudio did our floors 2 years ago, the room temperature needs to be fairly high to allow the chemicals to penetrate and "cure". How cold is your attic? Temperature was also a factor when doing driveway repaving. |

It's too cold. Put a portable heater in the door way with a fan to blow it in. (Set on low)It would also help if you turned up the heat in the house. Good luck. |

Okay, we've had problems with our heat recently, so that may be slowing things down. Will do. |
