Over the past few days, what had thought was a rock salt stain (about 1 sq foot) on my garage floor has grown into a 3 foot blob. Upon closer inspection, I realized this was not white rock salt residue, but some sort of mold. I also then realized that specs of it were also growing on the side of my car. Has anyone else had experience with this? It's kind of freaking me out! What kind of mold grows in this weather! And so quickly! So, I bought some regular Mold & Mildew remover and sprayed the hell out of my garage floor. Hopefully, it will kill it off. |

It's only a thin film except on the edges where it is about 1/4 in thick. |

It's not mold. It's a mineral deposit from salt. |

Are you sure? That's what I thought at first, but then it grew. I sprayed it with the Mold & Mildew agent and scrub it and it seems to have worked, for now anyway. I hope it was just mineral deposit.} |
