Does anyone know if and when Christmas trees are picked up this year? We put ours out in front of the house on January 3rd, and it is still there. I called Waste Management and they said Maplewood picks them up, but I'm not certain who to phone to check on this. Thank you.

It gets weirder- ones across the street from us were picked up a month ago. Ours was left until last week. It's now gone, but the next door neighbors (two of them) are still there.

In all the years we've lived here, I've never seen anything like this.....

I chased the X-mas tree guys down the other day as they picked up my neighbors' trees but not mine. It was the second time I had watched them pass by, so I was concerned I had violated some rule. They smiled and cheerfully said it was buried in too much snow. (The previous time I had noticed it was frozen in ice.) They assured me they would return.

Thanks for your responses. My friend who lives around the corner had her tree picked up yesterday. I guess I'll just be patient for a while longer.
