Ok...this is embarrassing...I need a new window seat cushion, just a small one approx 34" x 15" and I know that they seem to be very easy to make - according to the instructions on the HGTV website. Unfortunately I'm not nimble with my fingers and I'm ashamed to say that anything I've ever tried to make appears to have been produced by a four year old! My big excuse is that my sewing machine up in the attic will only run on 240 volts he he.

I went into Calico Corners but OMG that shop is so expensive (even the items such as offcuts, cushions and end-of-roll offcuts in the 'sale' section seemed expensive to me) so I didn't like to ask the price of having them make a window seat cushion...or maybe I'm too tight-fisted LOL!

Does anyone know where I can get one (with a cover) made at a reasonable price? (Not that I have any idea what a reasonable price is LOL!)

Try Terminal Mills in Union. They have lots of fabric, and offer the services you require. Someone I know had cushions made there, and they were pleased.

She did some really nice curtains for me -- I think she was very easy to work with and fairly priced. I liked her a lot.

We have had several custom sized cushions made at the place on Valley across from Pathmark. They may not be cheap, tho. But, they do great work.

Thanks Miss L Toe for posting your question - I've been meaning to ask the same thing for a year now....maybe now I'll get one done for our house too.

Thank you everyone for your replies.

I have ordered a window seat cushion from Terminal Mill Ends in Union...and was delighted that they had the identical fabric that I have for the tie-up curtain I have at the same window (which I'd bought a couple of years ago at 'Country Curtains" in Far Hills).

Actually, 'Country Curtains' is a great find...for anyone interested, here's their website and they will mail a catalogue out to you:

http://www.countrycurtains.com

and their other sites are:

http://www.thecountryloft.com

Country Curtains is very reasonable indeed and they also have coverlets, bedspreads and accessories. It's a nice place to check out if you're going to nearby Chester.
