The Maplewood Environmental Advisory Committee is sponsoring an Earth Day contest for children in Maplewood and South Orange in 1st-12th grades.
The theme is "Great Green Idea". We are asking students to present a poster, essay, artwork, invention, film or other form of their idea. We will also accept entries submitted as a school class.
Maplewood Gift Cards will be awarded as prizes to the winners. Extra points will be given for ideas that can be used in Maplewood, now.
Entries should be submitted to your school or to the Maplewood Health Dept. by March 20th. For further information, contact Mr. Robert Roe, Maplewood Health Dept. at 973-762-8120, x4400, or at healthofficer@twp.maplewood.nj.us
