April 26th at 7:00pm - South Orange/Maplewood Neighborhood Association Summit
The South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race Neighborhood Association and Civic Life Committee is hosting the second South Orange/Maplewood Neighborhood Association Summit for existing neighborhood associations,as well as unaffiliated residents who are interested in starting an association.
Summit participants will be divided into three groups for discussion and problem solving in the areas of Communications, Recruitment and Holding Successful Neighborhood Events. Then, they will reconvene as one group to "read out" common observations and suggested action steps.
In addition, representatives from both South Orange Village and Maplewood Township will share information to demystify how residents can get involved with local township committees.
