because nobody's crap was picked up. Heck the garbage pickers have removed most of it, you would think that considering we do this one day a year we could get it right.

So the leaf pick-up last fall sucked
The spring rake out didn't go smoothly
I guess its just keeping with the trend for bulk pickup.

How many towns do you live in? Or do you use other towns' services without paying their taxes?

I have had a great experience with the spring rake out (which is still ongoing) and with the bulk pickup.

There was another post about delayed bulk pickup. The other time the DPW crews were called off to an emergency and the balance of the junk was picked up the next day. I expect something similar happened this time.

The early winter and snow storm really screwed up the leave pickup last fall I admit. I think any problems with the spring rake out are that there is so much to pickup because many had to keep their leaves all winter.
