“It was totally inappropriate, and Mr. Christensen should know better.” Really, what a short memory you have Mr. De Luca. If anything was ever totally inappropriate it was when as the Mayor you and Jerry Ryan would sit up on the dais and pass notes back and forth during my public appearances before the Township Committee. Maybe you should have had the sense to destroy the notes rather than pass them around. The fact is your comedic antics where totally inappropriate, not the least bit funny, and nothing compared to what you have criticized me for... When reviewing my extensive video library of prior Township Committee meetings, your arguments against the bed and breakfast ordinances continue to be outrageous. Also, the false and misleading comments you’ve made regarding the history of “my prior legal bed and breakfast” is a bad example of what could be in the future. As stated in today’s News Record, I don’t like your politics. IMHO, your inconsistent, unbalanced, and unfair attempts at governing leave a lot to be desired. I won’t bother to go into details with you now, but in the future when you reference me or my business refrain from all the hearsay comments, and make sure you add the term alleged as well. If you’re not sure what I’m referring to I can have my attorney go over it with you... |

What is this quote from? Today's News-Record*? *If so, I apologize but I needed the 75 cents to buy a snapple this morning. Diet Cranberry. |

As a public service (and well within the "fair use" doctrine), the following was in the B&B article in today's News-Wretched: Quote:Christensen noted that he and Profeta had been opponents in the 2002 Township Committee race, and said the two men do not socialize. But as officials debated Wednesday night, Christensen stood up at one point, walked up to the dais and handed Profeta a slip of paper. Profeta said the paper was a copy of the ordinance. But De Luca said Christensen was wrong to do that. “It was totally inappropriate, and Mr. Christensen should know better,” he said. “I don’t like his politics,” Christensen said of De Luca.

Oh I see. I clearly recall Artruo getting up and then I heard someone say "inappropriate" but I wasn't certain who said it. BTW: It was inappropriate. |

Yes, today's News Record on the bottom of page five, "Zoning laws updated for B&Bs"... As for it being inappropriate "S", was it any more inappropriate than the antics I referred to? I believe you know exactly what I'm talking about... FWIW, the continuing subtle and negative spin from the different newspapers and online comments tends to get my Irish up. I know innkeepers must be careful not to sound like we're hostile, against the war in Iraq, conservative, or Republicans who supports GWB. Maybe I’ll feel better in the morning if Israel continues to bomb the out those bastards over there...

Give Ireland Back to the Irish. Yes I do know what you're talking about Arturo and it was even less appropriate.

Art - I have to say while it may have been inappropriate it was about time you gave some crib notes to the Mayor as he needed a timeout and was meandering quite ineffectively at that stage. The slow walk was quite effective at goading Mr. De Luca. The mayor allegedly received a copy of the ordinance but obvioulsy forgot to point out it was highlighted allegedly.... Slainte |

Dearest Arturo, If you do write a book, you should stay away from the multiple fonts, colors and bold. I'm concerned that readers might think that the text looks like it was written by the Unabomber. |

No, I would never start something just to be confrontational... However, it seems everything I do is controversial. FWIW, I passed a copy of the bed and breakfast ordinance to the Mayor who is the Chair of the Township Committee. If Vic was the Mayor I would have passed it to him... Personally, I don't see what is so inappropriate anyway. Where is it written that someone can't pass something to someone on the dais? I didn't say anything to disrupt them, and the conversation continued with out missing a beat. Furthermore, papers are handed up to them by people all the time... BTW, be careful what you say to me "S", you're already in the book and I might decided to put that part of the chapter in bold, italics, underlined, and in red...

Go for it Hank, but remember I'm a Gemini who lives a very different life outside of the B&B thing that most people in town know about... "S", my shack is bigger and better than his shack, and in case you missed it, I already shaved... |

“S”, yes I do, never say die and keep on trucking no matter what... Tom, OK you win, tomorrow I’ll see if it’s available to rent. I’ve always heard it was a stupid flick and not worth watching. Who knows, I doubt it, but maybe it will give me some ideas for the screen play to follow the book?

Years ago my brother was a 'repo man.' Even had to repo one of Eddie Murphy's cars! The stories he'd tell were amazing! FWIW - Most of the time the cars being taken back were not from people 'down on their luck.' They were from people trying to take advantage of a fiance company. 'Bounty Hunters' are MUCH worse! |

I'm not a violent man by nature, and I'll do just about anything for a good cause... ..."Thunderdome" might work, or how about a demolition derby, with semi's or off the road equipment? Arm wrestling over broken glass or razor blades would draw an interesting crowd on this Board. I always prefer the bare knuckles and anything goes; only I'd probably have to drop thirty pounds or so to get down to his weight class... And, Mr. Maplewood, trust me, I don't loose sleep over anything. As for hurting Vic's feelings, I doubt it. Parking, politics, police station, you name it; the man has been in my face for years now, and me in his. Fortunately we are both civil people and are able to work together for a good cause, and that cause is Maplewood. That being said, our very different political styles will have us in each others face forever... BTW, who did your brother work for JTA? I'm always looking for more good people. Have him give me a call if he's still interested.

Cecelia, you haven't felt the need, but are you prepared to speak of other people's needs? Several of us have spoken of how we'd like to put our visiting friends and family up locally but can't. I think that's enough evidence of a need that exists. You're just not aware of it.
